The legal and commercial name of the company is Taro Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Taro was founded in Israel in 1950 and incorporated under the laws of the State of Israel in 1959. The Company expanded into Canada in 1984, and the U.S. in 1988. North America represents more than 90% of Taro’s sales.
